Available Dachshunds

We are an all-donation supported, all volunteer rescue for dachshunds and dachshund mixes. We provide a home for abandoned, abused or unwanted dachshunds on their way to finding a permanent and loving home. Our goal is to focus on the dogs of our geographical area - Atlanta, Northern Georgia, and Savannah, especially those in danger of euthanization because of overpopulation.

Currently, we know of dachshunds at risk at the following KILL shelters:

Fulton County
Clayton County
Forsyth County
Etowah (Cartersville)
Barrow County
Chattooga County
Madison Oglethorpe
Muscogee County
Perry County
Gilmore County (Ellijay)

You can save a life DIRECTLY by going to these shelters and adopting a dog from them. And remember, every dog you buy means another dog dies.

Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.
